Hafnium (Hf)

Metal Hf has excellent corrosion resistance, thermal neutron absorption cross-sectional area is very large. The addition of antibacterial increases the mechanical strength. Applications include nuclear reactor control rods, materials for metal cutting and welding, and retired materials for chemical plants.
